OUTWARD OR INWARD?
Large patio doors add a modern touch to the interiors and lightness to the structure of the building. They provide a view of the garden and let light into the interior.
Patio doors are made like large balcony windows. What distinguishes terrace doors from balcony windows is a wide sash profile, a door handle with a patent insert and high capacity hinges. Patio doors can be fitted with a 20 mm high low warm aluminium threshold to gain new functionality. As a standard, the doors open to the inside of the room, however, an outward opening version is possible in terrace doors.
Outward opening patio doors with a low warm aluminium threshold are the ideal idea for designing a large exit to the garden in such a way that the door leaves open onto the terrace and do not interfere with the living room, while the low threshold increases comfort. Such outward opening patio doors are equipped with three door hinges as standard to make burglary difficult.
